So one of my obsessions - and I'm sure an obsession of almost any woman you meet - is my weight. I'm not into diets but I do a lot of research about cleansing and keeping my body clean. I've done the Master Cleanse/Lemonade Diet 4 full times. I've tried it at least 8 times - but it's one of the hardest things I've EVER done.
The thing with TMC is you're not allowed to eat or drink ANYTHING other than this lemonade drink for 11 days. It's hard, it's really hard, it's really really really hard when you LOVE food the way I do. It's great tho, you'll feel like a million bucks when you're done, but when it's all said and done, I don't think it's a good idea to starve your body like that for such a long period of time. I know I lose a lot of weight when I do TMC but I gain it all back and sometimes more. I think many nutritionist would agree with me that starving your body puts it into self preservation mode - storing fat and burning muscle. I also believe that when you start eating again your body will store everything wondering when it will be forced to starve again.
I like doing TMC, but I will never do it again.. it's a challenge and I love a challenge but in the long run I believe it does more harm than good.

Skin Roller - well the imported from China Version
so when I went for Botox I talked to my dermatologist about this skin rolling machine thingy mabobber.
They are really expensive but apparently magical for getting rid of/preventing wrinkles. So ebay shopping researching expert that I am - I found one for a fraction of the cost. So how it works is - a bunch of tinny needles on a face sized rolling pin. Sounds like torture - well it kind of is, but not so bad when you consider the alternatives.
If you go to my botox entry you can see the before and after pics - well i started using the skin roller thing about two weeks later. I don't have a lot of wrinkles to begin with - besides those nasty 11's on my forhead. But my skin looks way better than it did before.
How it works is the tiny needles puncture your skin and collagen is produced in order to combat the damage- missing collagen is why we have those nasty wrinkles to begin with. The punctures also help those wonderful products you're using day and night actually to penetrate your skin. I've been using it 5 days a week now, and the results are pretty great. An ounce of prevention and all that jazz.

The Trash Bags - Who We Are
Well if you're from Canada you've probably heard of a couple of chicks doing a show on TV called the shopping bags - well this is a spin off of that. We are the trashy, uncensored, no holds barred version of that.
I'm a market researcher - and by that I mean I spend hours on the internet checking things out before I commit to buying.
I welcome your comments - opinions - thoughts and concerns. But first and foremost you should know that I don't really give a shit what you think about me, what I do, say, or think. It's a free country and we're all entitled to our own opinion - so go ahead and voice it!
